How do I join a group or circle?

Ask your friend to send you an invite link from the Crew tab. Tapping the link on your iPhone will open Arc and drop you right into the group. If you don't have the app yet, download it from the App Store first, then tap the link again.

Is my health data shared with anyone?

No. All your data — workouts, nutrition, sleep, weight — is stored locally on your device. The only information shared with your crew is what you explicitly choose to share via your Visibility setting (Open, Compete, or Ghost). See our Privacy Policy for full details.

How does the Crew Score work?

You earn points each day for completing workouts (30 base + effort bonus), hitting your protein goal (+30), hitting your water goal (+15), and logging a mindfulness session (+10). Going over your sugar goal applies a −5 penalty. Your score is multiplied by a streak bonus that grows each week you stay consistent.

How do I connect Apple Health?

Go to Settings → Health in Arc. You'll be prompted to grant read permissions for steps, active calories, heart rate, sleep, and HRV. Workout writes are optional and can be toggled separately. HealthKit data is read directly on your device — it never leaves unless you share it with your crew.

How do I cancel or delete my account?

To delete your account and all associated data, email support@runarc.app with the subject "Delete Account" from the email address you signed up with. We'll process the request within 5 business days.

How do I reset my invite code?

In the Crew tab, open your group settings and tap "Reset Invite Code." This generates a new code and invalidates the old one — any pending invites with the old code will no longer work.

The app isn't syncing across my devices. What do I do?

Arc stores data locally on each device by design. Cloud sync happens in the background when you're signed in. If sync seems stuck, try signing out and back in — this triggers a full pull from the cloud. If the issue persists, email us.
